Today I’m chilling out in Canterbury and licking my wounds from LARPing yesterday. Although we do not fight with real swords, the chill of January morning certainly does not help with getting bruises.
I’ve been applying for internships with Bloomsbury and Writing East Midlands, throwing my CV in a bottle out to sea and hoping they come back with more than a rejection letter.
Since my interview with David Almond, I’ve been writing more. I even have an idea for a children’s book I may write. Obviously it wont be as long as a regular book, but the language has to sparkle.
I’ve also been working on journalism projects, and Contastly (a new photography magazine) has replied to me. We’re talking, but nothing is certain yet.
Wish me luck!
